so what’s a daily routine like for conchita the chihuahua?

conchita the chihuahua has a full time staff, her own bedroom in posner’s sunset island mansion; a four-season wardrobe filled with fabulous chihuahua clothing and accessories; a dog wig made exclusively for her by ruth regina, the former make-up artist to the beatles and marilyn monroe and gems like her recent christmas gift, a tiffany’s gold and diamond necklace with a ring which serves as her “evening collar”.

little conchita travels everywhere with gail which includes daily lunches at the shore club’s ago, here she keeps her physique trim with grilled chicken breast carefully placed on a napkin to absorb any excess grease. it doesn’t end there. “the boss” will also get a range rover of her choice as posner feels that her chauffeured escalade is no longer big enough for just the two of them.

posner is a huge philanthropist and recently donated $25,000 to a local humane society in support of pro-life for sheltered animals, one of many charities that posner has donated to. posner definitely spoils her tiny teacup-sized chihuahua conchita, but she also gives back to charity and that in our books makes her a wonderful person.

my girlfriend really wanted a dog, so instead of going to a chihuahua breeder, she searched high and low, and eventually came upon a picture of an adorable mocha-colored 6 week old chihuahua puppy on craigslist. we responded to the ad and when we saw our little lucia for the first time, it was love at first sight.

being used to large dog breeds, we have never seen anything this small, lovable, and friendly. lucia immediately starting chasing and playing with the cat. we knew this would blossom into a happy family.

our little lucia is currently 8 months young and submerged in the hip neighborhood of williamsburg, brooklyn blending in with its uber-hip-ness. lucia is beginning to socialize at the local dog run, but it isn’t that easy when you are the smallest puppy in the park

this is my beautiful chihuahua named lil’ bella lucy. she was born of a pregnant teacup chihuahua that i rescued from the pouring rain. i found her covered with fleas sitting on my doorstep.

i work in the entertainment industry as a lucille ball look-a-like and am an emcee to many doggie events. lil’ bella lucy is now 1 1/2 years old and has become my partner in work and life. i now make appearances with her as she is my official lucille ball co-emcee. she even appears in parades with me wearing matching costumes!

lil bella lucy loves people and enjoys being in shows and having her picture taken. i recently started making chihuahua clothes and accessories for her that i’m calling, “i love lucy canine couture”.

this is teekie the chihuahua! her nickname is teeks or princess teekie and she is a 4lb full blooded akc registered deerhead chihuahua. teekie’s coat is black and white with beautiful tan markings. she was born on nov. 9, 2007 and i later adopted her on june 10, 2009 from a very nice couple who are chihuahua breeders in the state of indiana.

the first time i saw teekie, i just knew in my heart she was the right dog for us. when tammy, teekie’s former mom, answered the door and was holding little teekie in her arms, i instantly fell in love with her. on our drive home back to michigan, she didn’t whine or cry – she was comfortable with us and that was a good sign!

teekie was already potty-trained when i got her and i realized that she was also remarkably bright, loyal and protective of me and my fiance. she never leaves my side and is always on my lap or laying next to me. she also loves car rides and she enjoys sitting on the passenger seat on her bed and blanket.

we love going to the beach and the park. in the picture above, we are heading out for a car ride and she is wearing an adorable dog t shirt that says “i will not poop in my neighbors yard!”

my teekie loves to wear cute chihuahua clothing and accessories. she wears a size xsmall/small and she looks best in pinks, purples and girly colors. she is especially adorable in chihuahua clothes with the word princess written on them, with shiny gems and designs. she is very spoiled!

teekie’s favorite food to eat is chicken. any type of chicken she loves! i feed her pedigree for small dogs. she doesn’t really have a favorite toy, rather she enjoys chasing my hand for fun. she gets so excited when i move my hand on the bed or on the floor! her little tail wags and she makes this really cute grunting noise!

when teekie wants to be petted, she will scratch my hand with her paw! it’s as if she were saying, “scratch me mom!” or “give me attention!” i’ve heard that’s called a “donkey kick”. she has a cute habit of putting her ears down when i look at her and then when i look away, she perks her ears back up! it’s so funny!

teekie has enriched my life to the fullest! adopting a chihuahua was the best thing i’ve ever done. i couldn’t even begin to picture my life without her in it. the joy she has brought into my life is unimaginable. she’s like my little child, i literally care for her like my own baby. she’s so tiny, so precious and always wants to be held. i love her with all my heart.

i am lupita, a teacup chihuahua that was born from a reputable chihuahua breeder in quito, equidor. i’m3 months old and that’s me in the picture above posing pretty for mommy monica!

i love to snack on pedigree biscrok junior treats and my favorite toy is my soft french poodle, and a chew toy that tastes like chicken, yummies! i am a princess in that i sleep with my head on a pillow, just like mommy does!

i love to give mommy kisses and mommy tells me all the time how much i have enriched her life because i make her happy. i am tiny, but mighty and i will protect my mommy at all costs.

a month ago, i had a really bad cold. i was a very sick chihuahua puppy so mommy was very worried about me. she took me to the veterinarian and he said that i was much too young to drink any medicine and that i might not survive the cold.

my mommy was so concerned and did everything she could to make sure i survived and she proved that this veterinarian was wrong about his diagnosis.

meet miss bella luna! tiny, spunky, and full of energy! she’s just a few days short of 7 months and a mere 2.5 lbs. don’t let her size fool you though, she carries herself like she’s a great dane!

bella comes from a reputable chihuahua breeder located in ohio, where we live. i fell instantly in love with her when i first saw her and when i later called the breeder to let her know I was interested in her, she had already been sold. i was super bummed. then, a couple days later, i got a phone call back from the breeder and they told me my sweet little bella was again available due to the sale falling through. it was fate, she was meant to be mine!

some of bella’s favorite things to do are play with her baby chi-sister libby, take walks in the park, snuggle and chew on bully sticks. her health and nutrition is very important to me, so  i feed her high quality dog food, evo red meat small bites. she absolutely loves it! she also loves anything that has peanut butter in it.

bella is my little diva. she loves to dress up in designer chihuahua clothes and has a closet-full of tiny, girly outfits. i take her with me everywhere and she always steals the spotlight because of her cute outfits, petite size, and total cuteness. i had a hard time finding her outfits that fit, so i use tiny socks to create small sweaters for her. it works great and fits the tinies like a glove!

i am so lucky to have bella. i never knew how much a little dog could impact my life. bella is not only a pet, but my loyal companion. just looking at her always makes me smile. my theory is that chihuahuas are like potato chips. you can’t have just one. this explains why 4 months later, i got another little chihuahua puppy

this is my long-hair chihuahua zombie, or ‘zombie bear’ as we like to call her because of her long hair. she is 9 months old and from a responsible chihuahua breeder that checks up on her.

zombie loves to munch on carrots, play with her itty bitty yellow tennis ball and barks at our space heaters until we turn them on. in the picture above, zombie is patiently waiting for mommy to take her out to see her friends at the local coffee shop.

my friends and family used to dislike chihuahua’s as they felt they were mean little dogs that barked too much and that they looked ugly. then i brought our little zombie home and their attitudes changed. now they all want a chihuahua of their own and love to visit with zombie. my grandma even calls to check up on her like she was her great grand puppy!

zombie can do the cha cha for treats and she understands who to to go if you say “go to daddy” or “go to mommy”. she is very well behaved and she knows just what to do when i am sad. she looks at me with her big light brown eyes, wiggles her nose a few times and blinks at me as though she were saying, don’t be sad mommy, let’s go play!

i used to get depressed and feel unmotivated for no reason, but with my little zombie now in my life, it’s impossible to feel that way now. i simply can’t imagine what life would be like without her. knowing that she loves me unconditionally makes me very happy.

my name is cheeto and i am turning 3 years old on halloween 2010. i am a rescued chihuahua and was adopted by my human parents cory and danielle when i was just a month old.

this year i suffered a terrible accident and unfortunately my vet had to remove my front left leg. i am still adjusting to the new challenges that come my way, such as just getting used to balancing on three paws, but with the help of mommy and daddy, these challenges get easier with every step.

not only has this been an experience for me, but for them too. they now have a special needs chihuahua puppy and although it’s been tough, i’ve inspired them in their own lives and would like to say that their love for me has bonded us for life!

now i get all the yummy tiny bonz and squeeky toys i could possibly want! what little puppy wouldn’t want that?!

i would like you to meet my little miracle chihuahua olive. she is 10 months old, weighs 5 pounds and is a smooth-coat, deer head chihuahua with a shiny tan coat!

olive loves her “little champion” dog food made by pedigree, especially the beef casserole flavor she gets lots of “cookies” when she is good, or when she goes #2 outside.cookies are her favorite snack, so she takes full advantage of being well behaved when she knows there is a cookie involved! she can sit and shake your hand, but if you don’t have a cookie ready for her, she might not be willing to participate!

my little princess has more toys than most kids. a lot of her toys have been sewn back together or re-stuffed because she loves to tear them apart. she will usually start with the eyes and rip those off, then go for the ears… tail… anything she can destroy, she will! her favorite toy is a white stuffed pig. she is working on destroying her 4th one right now.

i got olive from a chihuahua breeder. i wasn’t really looking for a puppy, but a woman i worked with had one last chihuahua pup that needed a home and the moment i saw olive, it was love at first sight and i had to have her. she has been my best friend since the moment i became her mom and she has been a blessing.

olive is very protective of me and will often bark and show her “mohawk” when she hears someone other than me enter the house. she has a lot of funny little quirks to her personality and loves to play bite my husband’s nose, especially when he isn’t expecting it! she also loves to play fetch with her mini tennis balls, although after she is done fetching the ball, she will always drop it 3 feet in front of me rather than bring it all the way back, i guess she is a pup that plays by her own rules!

there was a point in time where i came very close to losing my olive. one night back in november, while my husband was outside working on the lawn, olive must have seen a squirrel or a bunny and chased it through a small opening in our fence. and from there… she was gone

we looked everywhere, up and down every street in our neighborhood, we made fliers, stopped at peoples houses, and no one had seen her. she was gone, it was like she had just disappeared without a trace. after hours and hours of searching for her, with no evidence of where she went, i was heartbroken and devastated. i thought i lost her forever and felt like a piece of me was missing. it got dark and cold outside and my biggest fear was not knowing if she was safe.

the next day, someone who had seen our flier called and said he had hit olive on the highway the previous evening. he had said that he stopped his vehicle to see if she was still alive and when he approached her, she bit him and then ran away! he told us the last location he had seen her and we stopped at every single house in that area, desperate for some type of clue of where she might be.

after several “sorry, i haven’t seen her” answers, we continued searching, but with no luck. it was going on to 24 hours since she had gone missing and we weren’t getting anywhere with our search. until finally, my husband’s phone rang with the news that someone had found her.

she was scared, and hiding in the trees in one of the back yards of the houses i had stopped at. we immediately went to find her and the moment she saw me, she ran towards me and i couldn’t do anything but cry and be happy that she was safe and out of danger.

still, olive’s journey was far from over. she was covered in dirt and blood. she was hurt very bad and its a miracle that she survived out there all night and all the next day. we took her to the emergency vet where she had to have emergency surgery to repair a diaphragmatic hernia.

she also suffered a broken pelvis and a lot of road rash from being hit by a car. after 4 days in the hospital, olive was released and has been on the road to recovery since then! after about a week, she was back to her normal self and as spunky as ever! we had to keep her on bed rest and crated as often as possible for a month after her accident so her pelvis would heal correctly.

today olive is fully recovered and doesn’t even walk with a limp! i’m sure she will struggle with arthritis in the future, but right now, she is a healthy little chihuahua puppy with a lot of energy!

i am reminded everyday of how special my sweet little olive is, and how much of a miracle it was that she survived what she went through. she is a tough little cookie, a fighter and an inspiration to all!

my name is carla and i’m the proud owner of a beautiful deerhead chihuahua named angel-caramelo. my sweet little angel is four years old and from a reputable chihuahua breeder in mexico.

greetings famous chihuahua®!

this fabulous little chihuahua just full of personality is my little mini! she is 5 years old, weighs 4 lbs and the beautiful chihuahua puppy of a reputable chihuahua breeder in minnesota.

i named her mini because she was so tiny (mini muffin, danish etc.) when i got her. she loves chicken, carrots and apples, and her favorite dog plush toy is a very small elephant head that we sleep with every night. i have spent the last 3 years trying to find another toy like it but with no luck, god forbid she loses it!

every night we sleep together and often during the night she wakes me up with her kisses, who could get mad? i just go back to sleep. in the morning though, before we go downstairs, she hides her elephant toy and then gets it and brings it into the bed with us at night. i even had a special ramp made for my sweet mini just so she can get onto the bed safely.

mini is the love of my life, along with my other two chihuahuas.  i work hard, so when i come home to all the kisses, it’s the best feeling in the world!

this is my long haired chihuahua carmela. she is 9 months old, weighs 3.2 lbs and was purchased from a reputable chihuahua breeder.

carmela doesn’t have a favorite food because she loves all food! she does however have a favorite snack, bacon treats or chicken flavored raw hides. her favorite chihuahua plush play toys are her leopard stuffed bone and a stuffed round yellow chicken. she also loves to roll on her back, so cute!

i simply can’t imagine how my life would be without my carmela. she is my best friend and my faithful little companion. so much that when i leave the house she waits hours for me at the top of the steps to come home. my boyfriend told me she does this and i didn’t believe him so we set up a camera for me to see it for my own eyes. i love my little carmela!

dear famous chihuahua®,

this is my gorgeous chihuahua coco. i got her from a chihuahua breeder in england. she is 7 months and is so tiny that she can pass for a teacup-size chihuahua. coco is very protective of me and she loves to stand on her back legs and dance around in circles.

little coco was given to me as a gift at a time when i was going through a rough period. if there is any dog that can win your heart over, it’s this precious little girl. i cant believe how happy she makes me and how beautiful she is. i think everyone should have the chance to have their heart won over like i have by this adorable little chihuahua puppy.

the picture above was taken when coco was 7 weeks old. she has a wonderful wardrobe of chihuahua clothes that includes a beautiful leopard print jumper and a fabulous chihuahua dog collar that look amazing on her.

howdy famous chihuahua®!

this is my chihuahua bebe, she is a 3 year old teacup chihuahua that i bought form a chihuahua breeder in oregon and she weighs approximately 3lbs. her beautiful coat is all white and she has deep dark blue eyes. what makes her unique is that she is deaf but responds to doggie sign language.

bebe’s favorite snacks are geenies, pup-peroni, and yummy filet mignon. her favorite play toys are stuffed animals. it doesn’t matter if they are the size of the palm of your hand or five times bigger than her, she will try to show it whose boss no matter what.

bebe has several funny habits. every time i give her a bone, she’ll go around the house and hide it like a chipmunk (there’s probably a dozen of hidden bones around the house as we speak). its funny because she hides the bone thinking there’s dirt/sand on the carpet so she uses her nose and digs  as if she were digging  a hole. i often find her bones in between the sofa, under the bed and once in my suitcase where i once discovered her bone while unpacking in a different state!

bebe will also sit on the sofa staring outside the window or she will spend hours cleaning herself as a cat would. whenever she sees the neighbor’s cat in the yard, she stands next to the sliding glass door and barks. when i open the sliding door thinking she will run out, she will instead walk away acting as if nothing happened. bebe also loves the sun! if she’s inside the house and there’s sunlight shining in, you will find her basking in it.

i’m so happy to have bebe in my life. regardless of her disability, bebe is an amazing chihuahua that has taught me the true meaning of unconditional love. i can’t seem to spoil her enough with treats, chihuahua dresses, and of course with love. i adore her sassiness, size and innocence.

i wanted to share with you my two precious little chihuahuas, ‘hunee & bee’. i have been blessed to have these two little girls that love me so much.

on the left is hunee. she is a white deerhead chihuahua. i got her at 8 weeks and she is now 3 years old. she has a big personality, chatters constantly, plays fetch, dances upright, and her special talent is walking and running upright like people do. she has a big round fuzzy puff ball that she likes to carry in her mouth like a pacifier and will not go to bed without it.

on the right is beebee faye dunaway, but we call her bee for short. she is a black applehead chihuahua, with a white heart on top her head. i got bee when hunee was a year old so that hunee could have a little sister to play with. bee is now 2 years old and is a total opposite of Hunee. she is shy, reserved and loves being close to her big sister.

bee is adventurous and loves the outdoors. she is fascinated with bugs, the grass, rocks, horses, sheep, llamas, you name it! i call her my little tom boy. she also dances in circles upright and she too can walk upright like hunee, although her walk looks more like that of a kangaroo. it is very cute. at 6 months old i put her in a dog contest and she actually won first prize for talent just for being a little kangaroo!

my chihuahuas are like 2 peas in a pod. they both love playing with each other, dancing for treats, dressing up in their chihuahua dresses or chihuahua hoodies, playing chase and people, especially ones that allow them to lick them on the face. hunee loves watching america’s funniest pets, and little bee loves listening to classical music.

my hunee & bee make my heart and world smile!
