Kelly, who posted on October 10, 2011, please have your Veterinarian look for thyroid issues with your little blue. Our first longcoat chihuahua was a blue and he lost his coat. looked like a little bald rat. turned out to be hypo-thyroidism and he had to take meds every day for the rest of his life. after being put on the meds to regulate his thyroid, his coat grew in just beautiful. feel free to email me at everitnm (at) hotmail (dot) com if you want more info.

If anyone around montreal has any question regarding blue chihuahuas I have researched dog genetics and I have successfully bred my chihuahuas and resulted in 3 blue puppies!!! They were born oct.19th 2011 and one is a tiny tricolor who might even turn out to be lavender!!! So exciting! I am willing to answer any questions you have! Lots of chi-love!

My blue tri chihuahua is losing hair, he’s 13 weeks I took him to the Vet. the vet did some test and didn’t find anything he stated this might be normal for a tri blue but he wasn’t sure. Do I need to find another Vet. Please help
