We also like to adopt one from the states, but how???
We have them for almost 25 years.
We already have three chihuahuas, and i really love to give some pore little girl a very good and loving home…

how can we adopt a chihuahua from the states??? would this be possible??? I`M having 6 dogs at the moment chi and zwergpinscher and chipis. I know a lot of people would like to adopt one by us in austria!!! Can u tell me if we could fly them out the usa….to us to europe??? Possible or not???

I have adopted my chihuahua from the Miami shelter, she was 6 weeks old and she is a doll. I am glad to learn that I did the right thing.

I have 3 chihuahua’s that I love dearly, one I bought from a reputable breeder. The other two
Chico and Rosie are adopted. Chico I got in Puerto Rico at a terrible place called dead dog beach, where people just dump the dogs if they can no longer care for them, I wished I could of taken them all home. Rosie was found in a garbage can with 2 dead babies next to her,she was also near death. I nursed her back to health, had to have most of her teeth pulled out, because she had all rotten teeth. But today they atr both happy and healthy (well) dogs. The vet thinks Rosie is about 19 years old, she is slowly going blind and can’t hear………..but nothing stops her from eating. Mini is 4 lbs of joy. I would be happy to adopt another .

i think rescues and shelters charge way too much for a chihuahua even if they are fixed they charge a lot of money i rather spend a lower price on a dog .and use the money to care for it and buy lts of supplies and things for it well being

I’ve adopted a chihuahua from our local shelter before, but gave up on trying for the second one from one of the rescue groups. They’re doing a fantastic job in rescuing these little dogs, and I appreciate all of their hard work, but sometimes I feel like they’re a little too selective when choosing adopters. The first time I applied, I was turned down because I was a college student. The second time it was because I worked 40 hours a week. I’m sorry, but we can’t all afford to be stay-at-home pet owners. So I finally purchased my other chi baby. My little shelter chi, Poppet, recently passed away due to AIHA at the advanced age of 18. I had him 10 years, and they were the best years of my life. He was a great dog. I’d love to rescue another one when the time is right, but I’ll probably just purchase again. I’m tired of being made to feel like I’m not good enough or am a bad dog owner. I exercise, play with, care for their medical and dental needs, love, adore, lavish attention on, socialize, provide a safe environment, make indoor potty provisions, neuter, provide good nutrition, can provide vet recommendations…but apparently that’s not enough.
