a chihuahua named yoda took home the first place prize Friday, June 24, 2011 at the World’s Ugliest Dog Contest at the Sonoma-Marin County Fair. Aside from being able to tout the title, yoda also won a $1,000 prize for his malformed looks.
yoda is a previously abandoned 14-year old chinese crested chihuahua-mix with a malformed nose, short tufts of hair, a protruding tongue and long hairless legs. he is proudly owned by dog groomer, terry schumacher.
