I wouldn’t blame Paris Hilton for ignorant people getting a dog on a whim and then dumping it. I have three dogs. a corgi, a poodle and a chihuahua. They are all purebred dogs, all were adopted, and all were owned by previous ignorant people. I find that most don’t have any clue how to potty train a puppy. Instead of getting information and doing it right they give the animal up. Some have other behavoir problems that were “caused” by humans not the nature of the breed. More people need to watch The Dog Wisperer and get a CLUE!
Hopefully, some of these poor creatures find a home like mine where the owner doesn’t blame the dog for its owners past ignorance and has the patience to work with an animal that has been mistreated. No dog is untrainable.

Having a adopted Chihuahua named Paris Hilton, its common to use her name as a scape goat. How about we change it to Obama Syndrome ? as he “promised” to adopt a dog in need, instead he “aquires” a rare breed dog from a high end Breeder who sold to the Kennedys! Claiming the previous owner returned the puppy?!? Not exactly setting or leading by a good example.
Chihuahuas are the #2 breed in LA City Shelters, and by just going on petfinder.com, thousands looking for homes. Please, pass the message along that dogs don’t end up in shelters because they are bad dogs, only they ended up with a bad owner
Eveyone is entitled to their opinion, but blaming Celebs for grown adults choices is wasted energy.
