“look mommy and daddy, i’m famous!”
this is our precious little fergie. she was born on may 9, 2012. her mom was rescued from the unsanitary home of a hoarder by the good folks at the little waif puppy rescue in yakima, washington. she lived with two wonderful foster families before we adopted her at 9 weeks old, where she now lives happily with us, karen and james bishop, in seattle, wa.
fergie is a special chihuahua. our vet says that she is the poster-pup for having one of the best chihuahua temperaments. fergie loves to give chihuahua kisses, is playful and adores people. everyone who meets her wants to hold her as she nestles in your arms with so much love and affection and not a care in the world. people always comment on her cute white sock-like feet, her polka-dotted belly, and her charming perma-smile.
her big personality gives her permission to rule our canine roost! she is buddies with our other dog, ozzie, who is a 115 pound bernese mountain dog, where fergie in contrast is only 4.1 lbs! they love to play together and make for a truly the odd couple, but it’s simply adorable! in our eyes, fergie is the world’s biggest sweetheart!

Well, she’s not a pug (we have 4 including 2 rescues, plus we have a foster pug living with us now for a total of 5), but she really is cute!

fergie is such a lovable girl! we had the pleasure of her company at a recent outdoor wedding, I held her and she snuggled and it was so much fun! GO, Fergie!
