little dauphine-bijoux bourbon the chihuahua poses happily for the camera

dear famous chihuahua,

i am happy to introduce you to my rescued chihuahua dauphine-bijoux bourbon. i rescued her from a pennsylvania puppy mill where they were forcing her to have litters. she is now an official upper east side princess and only eats the finest organic food and wears the best in designer chihuahua clothing!

little dauphine-bijoux is 2 1/2 years old and her favorite foods to snack on are parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese, filet mignon, organic chicken and non fat organic plain yogurt. she enjoys playing with with her little pink plush dog toy and when she is eager to get my attention or wants food, she chirps like a dolphin when they make those high pitched sounds. it is very funny!

when i first got dauphine-bijoux, she didn’t know her basic commands. i was able to teach her the sit command, but instead of sitting she will do the play pose with her two front legs on the floor and her bottom up in the air so now whenever i say “sit” she does the play pose like she is praying!

dauphine-bijoux hasn’t mastered any tricks as of yet except for knowing how to get mommy to do whatever she wants! she loves to sit on my lap and going for walks. she is also a marvelous manipulator, but she makes every day fun and lovely with her cute little antics.

my little dauphine-bijoux has brought so much love and joy into my life. i work from home as a fashion designer so i am fortunate to be able to spend every day with her. i love her with all my heart and i am so glad i was able to rescue her from a bad situation.

sincerely,

chloe, the rescue chihuahua with an amazing mommy

precious chloe, the chihuahua who loves her mommy!

hi famous chihuahua!

i am chloe the chihuahua and i live in atlanta, ga. with my mommy kara and i love it! it was hard at first, but after a few weeks we were great friends. my past is a little shady. a year ago i was living in a home that wasn’t working out and she came to my rescue.

mommy doesn’t know exactly how old i am, but the doctor says i’m anywhere from 5-7 years old. last year when kara got me, she spent all this money to get 7 of my teeth pulled and to have me spayed! my teeth were rotting because nobody took care of them so now my tongue hangs out on the left side when i relax because i have no teeth there.

i’m glad mommy takes super good care of me. she gives me dried chicken tenderloins and lets me eat them in the sunshine. it just doesn’t get any better than that! i also love burrowing inside blankets, sleeping, sitting on mommy’s lap, snuggling in my igloo bed, exploring outside and playing with my stuffed chihuahua dolly. oh and i can also walk on 3 legs! isn’t that cool?

mom really loves me and tells people that her life got better once i came into it. I am so grateful for mommy. i still have to work on being nice to other dogs and strangers, but mommy is working with me on that. she says i’m 90% sweet, 10% fiesty. i say I’m 100% sweet, but whatever.

thanks for telling my story and i hope other chihuahuas who need homes are also adopted by someone as special as my mommy,

‘paws’-itively yours,

chloe the chihuahua

stella, an adopted chihuahua with angel-like qualities

stella, the adopted chihuahua who lives like a princess!

dear famous chihuahua,

this is our little princess stella. we adopted her last year from the humane society after losing our former dog in a car accident. my partner and i decided we would just go to look, but when we were given little stella to hold, we knew instantly that she was our girl!

stella is an angelic chihuahua that is a joy to be around. she plays with cat toys and has a cute habit of rolling around on her back. she loves avocado and eats fruits and veggies that “fall” from the table. she enjoys taking walks to the waterfront and being at the center of our attention.

e.t., the miracle chihuahua that was hit by a car

dear famous chihuahua,

allow me to introduce to your readers to e.t. the chihuahua (he also responds to baby). e.t. is a year and a half old and is straight from mexico! my grandmother’s friend whose family lives in mexico had chihuahua puppies so she brought one to the states and that’s how i got my baby.

e.t.’s favorite foods are apples and cherries and he loves playing with bras and small little stuffed toys. he barks at absolutely everything and loves playing with big dogs – he doesn’t realize how small he really is.

we live in chicago where there are lots of cars. last june e.t. was hit by a car and that broke my heart. we took him to the vet and they said he wasn’t going to survive, but he is much better now because of our persistent determination to make him better!

everyday he walks outside for at least 20 minutes and we make him play hard – it’s our version of physical therapy and it has proven successful.

e.t. is the love of my life – my own miracle chihuahua. i just don’t know what i would do without him.

sincerely,
cristina pham

buster, the rescue chihuahua who can do tricks!

buster, the rescue chihuahua who can do tricks!

dear famous chihuahua,

i’d like to introduce you to my chihuahua buster. i bought buster from a pet store and later found out he came from a puppy mill, so technically he is a chihuahua rescue puppy. he had a lot of issues coming from the mill, but we worked through them and today he is the best chihuahua in the world.

buster is now a year and half old and his favorite toy is his tennis ball. he loves to snack on cheese and can do several tricks for treats that includes dancing, jumping through a hula hoop and sitting up in the begging position.

buster hates it when i use my cell phone. one evening i left my phone on the coffee table and later went back to get it and it was gone. after searching everywhere, i finally found it buried under all of buster’s toys in his bed/toy box. it was his way of telling me, “get off the phone mommy!”

i can’t imagine my life without buster, he means everything to me. i hope you enjoy his picture as much as i enjoy him.

sincerely,
