dear famous chihuahua®,
my name is amanda hamby and this is my chihuahua sebastion. my husband got him for me from a chihuahua breeder in texas after finding out that i was unable to have children. this devastated me so my husband thought that getting me a chihuahua puppy would make me feel better, you know, something i could use my maternal instincts on and boy was he right.
sebastion was born on april 7, 2008 and i treat this beautiful little chihuahua like he was my child. we eat, sleep, walk and watch tv together and when we fly to texas to see my husband’s parents, he sits in my lap on the plane. he also attends college classes with me where he lays comfortably next to me sleeping in his bag. my husband says that i have spoiled him rotten.
i have taught sebastion so many tricks using pup-a-roni’s bites as these are his favorite snack. he can sit, stay, shake, walk on his back legs in a circle, lay down, and more! i love to bring him to pet smart to try on outfits. it’s funny how cooperative he is with my changing his clothes several times a day. sebastion also loves to play catch at the park.
sebastion has filled a void in my heart that i never thought possible. for other couples like us who are unable to have children, i would highly recommend rescuing a chihuahua. i hope my story helps people like us find a way to deal with what life throws at you. my sweet little sebation is evidence that miracles really do come in very little packages.
yours in all sincerity,
amanda hamby from the state of alabama

I know what you mean. My little long haired chihuahua, Precious, is the child I never had. We both spoil her rotten and we are in our 60’s. I couldn’t love her any more if she had been human. We treat her just like our baby and she has filled a void in our hearts that has been there for a long time. God Bless Chihuahuas!

I have a Chihuahua named Chico that looks a lot like yours… and I have a female named Bella. We are pretty sure they are the best things in the entire world! My situation is somewhat similar… and let me tell you – these little fur balls are a true blessing!

I have 2 Chihuahua’s one 5 yrs old (male fawn and white teacup) Wts 2.5 ozs. Have a new one I got for a Christmas present Black female another teacup. They are my children, I had one for 18 yrs old he died on Nov.the 2th and I am still not over it .He went everywhere with me. He was dark brown until he starting getting old like me then he had gray hair in a few places. He is buried beside my house and I keep flowers on his grave.I can’t hardly type about him without crying
Your Chihuahua is beautiful all of them all. I just love everyone of them they are so small and sweet.
Since I am a older lady they keep me company.
