while playing outside in the backyard of her house in, an 8 year old was attacked by a neighbor’s pit bull! apparently the pit bull broke free from it’s enclosure and started mauling the girl.
fortunately, the family dog, a small chihuahua named honey was there to distract the pit bull temporarily until the pit bull’s owner was able to restrain the dog before tragedy occurred. the young girl will need hours of surgery to repair her wounds, but her grandmother says that it could have been much worse if honey the chihuahua wasn’t there to save the day!
the pit bull’s owner has agreed to put the dog down.
