“hello world, i am bristol the service chihuahua! like my specs?”

little bristol was rescued at a very early age when he weighed a mere 1/2 a lb. he had been badly beaten where most of his teeth had been knocked out and his left eye swollen shut. it was later discovered that all his teeth had been removed as well as the lower portion of his jaw.

it’s been four years and bristol is now is a certified service chihuahua that works with developmentally challenged adults in both a therapy and service capacity. he has also grown to weigh a happy and healthy 1.5 lbs and has earned his ‘flying wings’ from southwest airlines.

bristol’s mummy tells us that little bristol is a treasure and one of the most incredible chihuahuas is in the chihuahua world!

famous chihuahua presents the stories of chihuahuas hector and lola as told by their mommy emily desimone of nashville, tennessee, usa.

“hi, i’m emily desimone. i am a mommy to two adopted chihuahuas, a boy and a girl. the boy’s name is hector and the girl’s name is lola. here hector is wearing his new sweater and proudly showing it off.

hector was a severely abused and neglected dog before he was adopted by me, therefore, his age is a mystery. although, the vet said he is probably about 6. i adopted in february of 2008. the poor little guy was starved, terrified and eating leaves and drinking dirty water. now he is a healthy and happy little chihuahua.

lola was also an abused dog and was adopted by me in february of 2007. she was abused and then was wondering the streets. a shelter took her in, then i adopted her. the vet said she is about 4 years old.

lola can be such a baby! one day, i gave her a pacifier to play with and she actually put it in her mouth! now, when she wants to be cuddled, she gets to use her pacifier, too!

hector and lola are so sweet and caring, and honestly, thankful that they aren’t living where they were! they can be a bit spoiled, but they deserve it!”

“hello world, i am coco the princess chihuahua! i am 7 months old and live with my mummy leetal in mountain view, california.”

little coco was rescued by leetal and her fiance at a mere 3 weeks old. she was tiny, delicate, helpless and weighed in at less than half a pound. she was taken home immediately where she was bottle fed daily and nourished back to health.

today coco the chihuahua weighs in at a whopping 3.7 pounds and is mummy’s pride and joy. in this picture she sits in the sun looking so perfect. the photo captures her beautiful, delicate and loving personality that leetal and her fiance have grown to love.
