dear famous chihuahua,

this is our little princess stella. we adopted her last year from the humane society after losing our former dog in a car accident. my partner and i decided we would just go to look, but when we were given little stella to hold, we knew instantly that she was our girl!

stella is an angelic chihuahua that is a joy to be around. she plays with cat toys and has a cute habit of rolling around on her back. she loves avocado and eats fruits and veggies that “fall” from the table. she enjoys taking walks to the waterfront and being at the center of our attention.

dear famous chihuahua,

allow me to introduce to your readers to e.t. the chihuahua (he also responds to baby). e.t. is a year and a half old and is straight from mexico! my grandmother’s friend whose family lives in mexico had chihuahua puppies so she brought one to the states and that’s how i got my baby.

e.t.’s favorite foods are apples and cherries and he loves playing with bras and small little stuffed toys. he barks at absolutely everything and loves playing with big dogs – he doesn’t realize how small he really is.

we live in chicago where there are lots of cars. last june e.t. was hit by a car and that broke my heart. we took him to the vet and they said he wasn’t going to survive, but he is much better now because of our persistent determination to make him better!

everyday he walks outside for at least 20 minutes and we make him play hard – it’s our version of physical therapy and it has proven successful.

e.t. is the love of my life – my own miracle chihuahua. i just don’t know what i would do without him.

dear famous chihuahua,

i’d like to introduce you to my chihuahua buster. i bought buster from a pet store and later found out he came from a puppy mill, so technically he is a chihuahua rescue puppy. he had a lot of issues coming from the mill, but we worked through them and today he is the best chihuahua in the world.

buster is now a year and half old and his favorite toy is his tennis ball. he loves to snack on cheese and can do several tricks for treats that includes dancing, jumping through a hula hoop and sitting up in the begging position.

buster hates it when i use my cell phone. one evening i left my phone on the coffee table and later went back to get it and it was gone. after searching everywhere, i finally found it buried under all of buster’s toys in his bed/toy box. it was his way of telling me, “get off the phone mommy!”

i can’t imagine my life without buster, he means everything to me. i hope you enjoy his picture as much as i enjoy him.

“hola amigos! mi nombre es merlot!   ..  alguien quiere una cerveza??”

this adorable 4th of july chihuahua puppy is now 3 years old and lives in sunny phoenix, arizona with her mommy jacqueline and the rest of the golaszewski family, whose lives have all been enriched by her presence.

little merlot enjoys snacking on pretty much anything, which includes both dog treats and people food and her favorite play toy is her corona beer plush bottle as you see in the picture above, where she is telling mommy that it’s “grrrona time” as they relax poolside in the sun.

merlot likes to playfully bear her teeth and takes pleasure in torturing her big sister, sassy (a lhasa apso) by pulling her ears and then running around and pulling her tail. she can also run on command when told “zooooooom!” and is featured prominently at swankypet.net

dear famous chihuahua,

i am sophia the chihuahua, but my daddy calls me bambi or bam. i am two years old and i love people food! mommy found me when my original owner moved away and could no longer keep me. wow did i luck out! i am always the center of attention at home and daddy hates to admit how much he loves driving me around in his truck. in this picture you see me resting my tired paws on daddy’s lap after a long day at the beach.

everyone should adopt a chihuahua to be loved by. our little sophie has so much love to give and we love to wake up to all her kisses. she has changed our lives for the better.

“special delivery for famous chihuahua! introducing dusty the chihuahua!”

little dusty is a year and half old and lives with his mommy jennifer nguyen in new haven, connecticut. little dusty can be feisty and will pull an attitude around people he is not familiar with, but he is only being protective and is really a very sweet and affectionate chihuahua.

dusty can also stand on his two hind legs and pretend to box with you; he also follows commands on demand and loves to snack on chicken and baby carrots and play with his small plush stuffed animal toys.

jennifer tells us that dusty is an amazing chihuahua and his presence brings much joy, love, and happiness into her life.

dear famous chihuahua,

this is puddy the chihuahua. he is my best little friend. we have had him since he was a baby and the origins of his name is a mix between puppy and buddy … puddy.

puddy is 1-1/2 years old, weighs 3.4 lbs and is a very picky eater! he eats chicken, rice and carrot stew, little baby cheese burgers and swiss cheese strips – his favorite is the cheese burger.

we got little puddy from a chihuahua breeder near my daughter’s high school. he was the obvious choice from the litter because he waved at me! his favorite toy is a unicorn hand puppet that he wrestles with vigorously.

recently, puddy learned to climb the stairs up to our bed … but not back down so easily though. puddy is my little therapist – i never thought that i’d have a chihuahua, but he is huge a part of who i am today.
