here is gucci’s amazing story as told by his rescue parents, jeannie and bruce johnston!
meet gucci! he is our wonderful boy chihuahua that we rescued from a phoenix shelter. he’s around 4 years old and now lives happily with us in scottsdale, arizona. when he first came home with us, he was only 2 pounds and was very sick with kennel cough and other injuries from dogs biting him and chewing on his ears.
gucci was overlooked at the shelter because he appeared to be unhealthy when all he needed was food, a little medicine and lots of tlc! after about 3 weeks of nourishment and love, gucci no longer had chihuahua health issues and weighed a healthy 4.8 pounds!
by sharing gucci’s story, we hope to encourage people to rescue chihuahuas that just need love and care because they end up making the best little buddies!
